* A born desert rat, I despise precipitation of any form (an adaptable creature, however, my humidity tolerance level goes up to 95%). Today’s sunny afternoon turned into a rush-hour downpour and I ended up thoroughly soaked despite D’s efforts to keep me under his large pup tent of an umbrella. Until Sasha’s remix of Burma’s Lostep stopped playing on my iPod, the rain didn’t bother me that much. With the music gone, the frown set in. I learned something: Even the most undesirable activity can be made more cheerful with good music. With that tune in my ears, I could have walked sans umbrella through the showers and been just fine.
* Microsoft Word still sucks. Try making tables with images, text and hypertext in them. StarOffice has its own set of drawbacks, so all of you Linux users can save it. Adobe Photoshop it is.
