The Wright brothers would be proud. The latest incarnation of their invention is a cheap, battery-powered plane that carries a remote-control camera to spy on gatherings. Recently tested on a biker melee in Charles County, MD, the plane was evaluated as a tool “to watch for emergencies or troublemakers.”
[I used “biker” and “melee” in the same sentence.]
A base-model CyberBug costs $7,500 and can be placed in a stationary position or controlled with a joystick device. It can stay in the air for more than three hours and comes with a variety of features ” including the camera, a global positioning system and an explosive trigger for qualified customers. Cyber Defense Systems is marketing CyberBug as a low-cost way for law-enforcement agencies, military forces, business owners and state or local governments to monitor their properties, including potential terrorist targets.
Troublemakers and terrorists are expected to cooperate by wearing large bullseyes on their heads and backs and conducting all surreptitious activity outside in broad daylight.

The Apple family has grown again – the iMac G5 just dropped.
With even faster processors, built-in wireless capabilities, and more, the new iMac G5 takes elegance and speed to new heights. And it comes with Mac OS X Tiger, delivering more than 200 new features that will change how you use your computer.
It slices, it dices … yes, but will it interpret my datasets and write my blog posts for me? That would revolutionize the way I work.
Remember back in 1984 when Apple stuck it to Big Brother? *sigh* I do.
yeah… now you can set up your new iMac G5 to stream the surveillance video taken by the mini spy plane over a wireless network! That will change how law enforcement works… yup now they can watch you while dunking their donuts at the local StarBucks…….hmmmm
