I am here today, judged not by the color of my skin but by my ability, due to his work. No, people of color have not collectively arrived because I am here today or Barack Obama enters the White House tomorrow. Yet, it is a huge step forward for which I feel incredibly lucky. Let us cherish this one moment and give thanks for being alive at this time.
