Day 1010: Obama’s Moment, Our Moment

There are transcendent moments in our lives.  I have one here.  How I feel, how hundreds of thousands of Americans feel, this is real and special.  Even if this candidate does not win his ultimate race, whatever happens beyond now, he will have given us this moment.  We will have known our capacity.  We will have been Americans first.

“This was the moment this was the time when we came together to remake this great nation so that it may always reflect our very best selves, and our highest ideals.”

I am proud of you, Mr. Barack Hussein Obama, Jr.

I was very inspired by Obama’s speech last night, and I believe Americans voting to make Obama the Democratic nominee gives hope to the world. I still remember a time when my U.S. passport was respected and even envied in other countries.
