The Jena 6 prosecutor and one episode of Tim Gunn’s Guide To Style had me convinced civilization has reached its stupidity/depravity ceiling. Boy, was I proven wrong: Nebraska State Senator Sues God. Under normal circumstances, I’d ask, “Why, God, why?” but it appears He’s busy assembling a legal team. (Wait for some judge to validate this case and set the legal precedent that an omnipotent, Judeo-Christian God exists.)

I expect Mr. Chambers will have the same personal jurisdiction and service issues as the plaintiff in this famous case:

Elie Wiesel already came up with a precedent for this lawsuit. I’m waiting to see how much of it comes from his play, “The Trial of God”.
It’s all been done, woohoohoo…
I saw that corn-husker piece and couldn’t bring myself to offer an opinion about it.
Wingnuttia never ceases to surprise me.
I’m from Omaha NE, and Ernie Chambers has served a valuable purpose throughout his tenure in government. His point, I think, is that the justice system ought to be open to all. This is definitely a case where context is necessary to judge.
