Talk Like A Pirate Day couldn’t have come at a better time, when many New Orleanians curse out loud, gather bottles of rum and prepare for a possible visit by TS/Hurricane Jerry, the next phase of Tropical Disturbance 93L. If I understand the model forecasts and the Masters analysis correctly, should a storm choose to come this way, it will not do so until early next week. Then again, meteorological predictions are as reliable as a Magic 8 ball. Mine currently says, “Most likely.”
