My picks:
State Senate, District 5 – Cheryl Gray. Just say no to the Jefferson Machine. Note: Former candidate David Williams’s flier regarding Gray’s stance on crime is a puzzler. When a few of us local bloggers talked with him before the last election, I remember Williams saying that if he weren’t running, he’d support Gray, and that there was no love lost between him and the Jefferson cabal. It would also make more sense for Williams to be miffed at Jalila Jefferson-Bullock who beat him by a mere 50 votes. At any rate, we may never know what gives there. This is perhaps an example of why my mother says she’ll disown me if I ever become a politician.
Attorney General – Buddy Caldwell
Judge, Criminal District Court Section A – Laurie White
City Of New Orleans Councilmember At Large – Jackie Clarkson. As I said over at db‘s, “if I voted for Kerry [back in 2004], why not for Jackie?” It is only fitting to play the Lesser Of Two Evils game when we do not load the candidate selection process well at its beginnings. If any douchebag can run, any douchebag can then be elected.
God Empress Of The Universe Who Will Strike Down With Great Vengeance And Furious Anger And Free Cheese For Everyone On Wednesdays – Me. Mom will not be able to cast me off then.

That’s a smart woman.
Is it presumptuous to request a nice Camembert?
