* Sewerage & Water Board – CDM

[FEMA] has awarded a contract to an engineering firm that will use its expertise to facilitate the recovery of New Orleans’ public water and sewerage capacities. CDM, a New Orleans engineering firm with offices in Baton Rouge and Shreveport, was awarded a $3.5 million competitive contract to recommend solutions, provide costs of repairs and assess current sewerage and water functions.

What precisely do S&WB employees do everyday?

    Heh. Shouldn’t the S & WB be babysat by a radiator shop? It IS the best place to take a leak…

    FWIW, CDM shows up on Nagin’s list of 2005 campaign donors, the company switched to Landrieu in 2006, but seems to have kissed and made up with Nagin as it seems to have contributed to Nagin’s post-election fund raising.

    The company’s name also came up in a federal probe of the S&WB a couple of years ago, but that probe didn’t go anywhere.
