August 3, 2006 – Looks like Chris will be on the northern shores of Cuba early Sunday morn. As for next week, I hope Gulf Coast water temperatures east of Galveston subside. Anyone care to provide input on this?

Well, all I can say is that I’m glad I bought that chevy! I knew it was coming, we all did, but the actuality of having a storm in the Gulf only a few days away is an unpleasant prospect. No matter how optimistic I may feel about staying I am REALLY happy that this time I will be able to escape under my own power.
Praying for cool waters….
