The one thing about driving in the south is that they understand iced tea. Want a 64 fluid ounce cup of unsweetened tea (yes, a half gallon) to keep you awake until you get to Nashville? No problem. That’ll be $1.49.
KY is also home to the Creationism Museum. Contrasts indeed.
We pass that “Hell is Real” sign every summer on our way to Cincy to visit husband’s family in Cincy. I have a note from 2006 in my handy dandy notebook (before I had electronic handy dandy device) to try to remember to stop and take a picture. Note says “Exit 76 Upton, KY”
