This just in: Tommy Thompson turns on McCain campaign! “… doesn’t know a single person in Wisconsin who is happy with [it] … knows just as well as anyone in Wisconsin that voters are craving steady leadership and real solutions in a time of economic crisis, not the disgusting, false character attacks that John McCain is leveling on Barack Obama.” All I can say is, “Whooooooa.”

Oh, he’s neither the first nor the only Republican to already throw McCain and his campaign under the bus. Karl Rove has no faith in the current Republican campaign, some big red bloggers are now openly not voting for McCain (one is voting for Jindal – ha!) and … Christopher Hitchens, McCainiac until today, for Pete’s sake. Yikes. Apparently they can’t wait until November 5th to dump McCain.
