Like my brother, friend Curt rambles on about how the NFL is rigged. His conspiracy theory, however, takes the Packers to the Superbowl (with Favre teaching Brady, that little punk, a thing or two). ESPN Page Two’s Gregg Easterbrook thinks so, too, in It Would Be A Match Made In QB Heaven.
Yes, the Super Bowl might pair the Chargers and Giants, and that game would have its own virtues. But if you’re a football addict — or if you are Fox, which has the call, or Victoria’s Secret or any corporation that has spent $90,000 per second for ad time — you have to be palpitating over the thought of a Packers-Patriots Super Bowl.
Enough of all this Superbowl talk. The Packers have an NFC championship to win first.
Oh, and Scout, this one’s for you: “I Love My Green Bay Packers”
