Just as Michael and Kalypso Homan leave for six weeks in Israel, D and I board a plane today for La Bella Italia. After almost three years sans a real vacation, the ten days in Rome, Florence and Venice is a much-needed break and treat. Europe must be in the air this year what with brimful just having returned from a month in Spain, R currently in Stavanger and Mimosa and hubby leaving the US to live in gay Paris.
Karen wondered why my Flickr account abounds with pictures from Europe. Well, it’s a way of reminiscing of trips past in preparation for the future.
