In less than 24 hours, we have collectively raised $1450 for Suspect Device’s new MacBook!
I am so proud of ALL of you. We asked for $1300 and got $1450. Each person who contributed to this worthy cause should pat him/herself on the back. Give yourself a Heimlich while you’re at it.
Some, including me, find that the fundable page does not update to show that the 100% mark has been reached. Shouldn’t there be a Flash thermometer that spews dancing eGlobules of mercury all over the screen to a Casiotone tune? Hmph, I want my money back. This will be rectified, the money will be extracted, the machine will be purchased and joy will reign on earth Greg will not have to scour Greater Metropolitan Lafayette for said machine before surgery.
If anyone asks what citizen journalism can do that the mainstream media cannot, point them to this effort. This is community in action. Thanks, Rebecca and Alan!
