    Loved it all. Sifting through the 700+ pictures I took and making a mental list of what I’d like to do more of next time I’m there (who knows when that will be?!)

    Did you go inside Diamond Head? It’s interior was once used as a military base for a missile defense system.

    The weekend allotted to hike Diamondhead turned out to be when they closed the park for the APEC conference and its dignitaries. I was denied. *pout*

    It really creeps me out that there is a national cemetery inside Punchbowl Crater (across Honolulu from Diamondhead; apologies if you know this).
