Day 464: Moblogging With Flickr

As a great geek friend of mine once said, “I don’t want a great phone that’s also a camera.  I want a great camera that’s also a phone.”  In other words, cameraphone technology has a long way to go in providing great resolution and viewing area.  Still, here is a great new utility from Flickr to get your cameraphone shots on the web ASAP: m.flickr.com.  The only drawback is that you have to sign in with a Yahoo! account in hand – shoo, Yahoo!

To address my concern about pixels, here’s a list of cameraphones that Flickr-ers use the most.

I just purchased a SE K790 and am digging it the most – 3.2 megapixel camera, EDGE hi-speed connectivity (via T-Mobile) and a built-in radio! Still learning how to use the damn thing, but so far it’s been a great replacement for my bulky (but capable) SE P910.

Will definitely check out the Flickr mobile gateway!
