WorldCom Finds $3.3 Billion More in Irregularities
“WorldCom, which sought bankruptcy protection last month, said that it had uncovered $3.3 billion in additional accounting irregularities.”
“Oh look, here’s a receipt I forgot to include on the balance sheet…”
3 billion, 3 schmillion, whats the difference? They don’t have to pay it back any way…and I doubt that their golfing buddy Mr. S&L OOPSTER Dubbya is gonna nail them to the wall for it either … business and corporate fraud as usual in America … if you steal $200 from a Quickie Mart they send you up the river for 20 years … if you steal untold bazillions from corporate america they give you a rolex, a golden parachute and a good recommendation for your interview with the other company next week. It’s American Capitalism at its best… you just have to THINK BIG!
