Before you know it, twenty days will fly by and it will be time to vote in Orleans Parish, especially for the person to replace Oliver Thomas’s vacated City Council-At-Large seat. Isn’t it a shame that I really don’t even know what the candidates’ platforms are? This Thursday evening, you can attend a candidates’ forum at Loyola University sponsored by various neighborhood associations and moderated by WWL’s Lee Zurik. Even if most of the candidates are jokes, a few aren’t. I’d go, but will not be able to due to a prior commitment. Please take lots of notes for me to read the next day.
