Pardon the three-day lack of posts, but I’ve been busy walking or driving up and down Magazine between Thalia and Race in utter disbelief that the canyon at Melpomene & Magazine has been filled and that intersection liberated after more than three years.
I suggest retaining the Stupid Tax $1.00 sign up for all of those who careen through the new red light at the ameliorated intersection (even if it’s new, can’t you see it?), insist on going the wrong way down Magazine (why are all these cars parked facing the wrong way?) and turn left onto Race from the right lane and cause fender benders right in front of Mojo coffeeshop.
Liprap is keeping her Liberate Lower Magazine web banner up just in case the houses at the intersection come crashing down and create another Lord-Of-The-Flies shantytown in this neighborhood again.
